A Webflow migration takes between two weeks and six months depending on the platform you're leaving and the size of your site. These are the real timelines from our own projects: 216 WordPress pages in 40 days, a HubSpot site with 81 live forms in two months, and 823 pages consolidated onto 13 templates in 14 weeks.

A Webflow migration takes between two weeks and six months. That range is useless on its own, so here is the honest version: a small Wix or Squarespace marketing site moves in 2-4 weeks, a mid-size WordPress or HubSpot site takes 6-10 weeks, and enterprise builds with hundreds of pages or multiple domains run three months or more.

Those numbers aren't guesses. They come from our own project records: 216 WordPress pages migrated in 40 days, a HubSpot site with 81 live forms launched in two months, 823 pages consolidated onto roughly 13 templates in 14 weeks, and three separate websites merged into one bilingual platform of 1,262 migrated pages. This guide breaks down what each starting platform really takes, and what moves the number up or down.

Key Takeaways

  • Small Wix or Squarespace sites: 2-4 weeks. Mid-size WordPress or HubSpot sites: 6-10 weeks. Enterprise and multi-site builds: 3-6 months.
  • Our fastest verified migration moved 216 pages in 40 days with zero SEO loss (Juma).
  • Template count, form count, and approval speed drive the timeline more than raw page count.
  • In 2026, Google's site-move documentation says a medium site takes "a few weeks or more" to reprocess after launch. Keep redirects for at least a year.

What Determines How Long a Webflow Migration Takes?

Five things set the timeline, and page count is only one of them. Across our migration projects, from a 216-page B2B site delivered in 40 days to a three-domain consolidation measured in months, the same five factors decided every schedule.

  • Content inventory. Not how many pages you have, but how many kinds of pages. Testlio's 823 pages collapsed onto ~13 templates. The template count drove the build time, not the 823.
  • Design approach. A 1:1 rebuild of your current design is the fastest path. A redesign during migration adds design rounds and approval cycles to the critical path.
  • Forms and integrations. Every form wired into a CRM is a workflow someone depends on. Preserving 81 HubSpot forms with their automations intact was a defining workstream of our TeamUp migration.
  • SEO scope. The URL audit, redirect map, and schema work happen before and during the build. Skipping them is faster and costs you your rankings.
  • Approval speed. The build is rarely the bottleneck. Content readiness and review cycles on the client side produce more timeline variance than development does.

If you're weighing cost alongside time, we've broken down what a Webflow migration costs separately.

How Long Does a HubSpot to Webflow Migration Take?

About two months for a mid-size B2B site. In 2026 we moved TeamUp, DaySmart Software's fitness management brand, off HubSpot CMS: 328 website and landing pages, 702 CMS items, and 81 forms feeding their sales funnel, live on Webflow two months after kickoff. The blog and resources moved through structured CSV exports, and the site launched through the client's CloudFront reverse proxy without breaking their login flow.

What makes HubSpot migrations different isn't the content, it's the plumbing. Those 81 forms each carried CRM automations the sales team depended on, so they stayed as HubSpot embeds with every workflow intact, and the client's team verified live submissions arriving in HubSpot before launch. If you want to keep HubSpot as your CRM after moving your site, that's standard practice: our guide to the HubSpot-Webflow integration covers exactly how the two run together.

Multi-language adds time. Our Klipboard migration, also off HubSpot, spanned roughly 200 pages across 8 locales, and the pre-launch QA alone ran three full staging crawls with the client's search specialist. Read the full TeamUp migration case study for the week-by-week picture.

How Long Does a WordPress to Webflow Migration Take?

Six to ten weeks for most marketing sites. Our fastest: Juma, a B2B SaaS site, moved 216 pages in 40 days with 30+ reusable components built along the way and zero SEO loss at launch. WordPress migrations benefit from clean export paths: posts and CMS content come out in structured formats that map directly onto Webflow collections.

Scale changes the math, but less than you'd expect. Testlio's WordPress site on WP Engine had grown to hundreds of unique pages carrying roughly 200,000 monthly visits. The rebuild consolidated everything onto ~13 reusable templates that now power 823 live pages, and took 14 weeks from kickoff to launch. The consolidation is why 823 pages didn't take four times longer than 216: once a template exists, pages flow through it. The full Testlio case study shows how the template set was structured.

Wondering what the process looks like step by step? Our WordPress to Webflow migration guide walks through it, and our migration service page covers what we handle for you.

How Long Does a Wix to Webflow Migration Take?

Two to four weeks for a typical Wix site. Wix sites tend to be small, usually under 50 pages, which keeps the timeline short. The catch is that Wix has no clean content export: pages and copy move manually, and the design gets rebuilt rather than imported.

In practice that's an advantage. Almost nobody leaving Wix wants a 1:1 copy of their current site. The rebuild is the moment to fix structure, speed, and SEO fundamentals in one pass, which is why we quote Wix moves as short redesign projects rather than mechanical transfers. Squarespace migrations follow the same pattern and the same 2-4 week window.

See what's included on our Wix to Webflow migration page, or the Squarespace version if that's your platform.

How Long Does It Take to Migrate a Custom Website to Webflow?

Plan in months, not weeks. Custom-built sites have no export button, no standard CMS structure, and usually years of accumulated content that nobody has inventoried. The migration starts with a crawl and a spreadsheet, not with design.

Our largest: Energo-Pro, one of Bulgaria's leading electricity suppliers, ran three separate custom websites. We consolidated all three into one bilingual Webflow platform, migrating 1,262 pages across two languages and preserving every URL that held traffic or backlinks. The finished site runs about 1,670 unique pages in both Bulgarian and English, launched with zero SEO loss, and includes an HR hub where their recruitment team publishes 250+ job listings without a developer. The Energo-Pro project is the reference point we use when a prospect asks whether consolidation can be done safely.

Why months? Because every page type on a custom site needs a mapping decision: what it becomes in Webflow, who owns its content, and where its URL redirects. On 1,000+ pages, that decision layer, not the build, is the schedule.

What Makes a Migration Take Longer Than Planned?

In our project records, four things stretch timelines, and none of them is Webflow development.

  • Content readiness. Pages waiting on copy block templates that are otherwise done. The projects that hit their dates had content owners named before the build started.
  • Mid-project renames. Rebrands change naming conventions after the redirect map is "done." Klipboard's migration included legacy product renames and even Unicode URL variants. Treat the redirect map as a living document with an owner.
  • Integration QA. Forms, CRM routing, and analytics each need verification by the people who use them. TeamUp's client team tested live form submissions into HubSpot before cutover. That step doesn't compress.
  • Launch infrastructure. DNS, SSL, and reverse proxies belong to IT teams with their own schedules. When an SSL redirect loop appeared during TeamUp's cutover, we resolved it the same day working live with Webflow support and the client's engineers, because the launch plan had everyone in the room.

Can a migration go faster than quoted? Yes, when the audit is done first. The audit is also what protects your rankings: our redesign SEO playbook covers the preserve, merge, retire process that made these launches boring.

How Long Until Google Processes the Move?

Add a few weeks after launch before judging anything. Google's own site-move documentation, current as of 2026, says that for medium-sized websites "it can take a few weeks or more" for Google to start showing new URLs instead of old ones, and longer for larger sites (Google Search Central). The same document tells you to keep your 301 redirects "generally at least 1 year."

Set your checkpoints at 30, 60, and 90 days. Semrush's website migration checklist, updated in May 2026, recommends exactly that cadence for post-launch performance review (Semrush, 2026). On our projects, the pattern at those checkpoints has been consistent: flat through reprocessing, then normal growth, because the redirect and audit work happened before launch, not after.

How long does a HubSpot to Webflow migration take?

About two months for a mid-size B2B site. Our TeamUp migration moved 328 pages, 702 CMS items, and 81 HubSpot forms from HubSpot CMS to Webflow in two months from kickoff to launch, with every form automation preserved and client-verified before cutover.

How long does a WordPress to Webflow migration take?

Six to ten weeks for most marketing sites. We migrated Juma's 216 pages in 40 days with zero SEO loss, and Testlio's 823 pages, carrying roughly 200,000 monthly visits, took 14 weeks including a full consolidation onto about 13 templates.

How long does a Wix to Webflow migration take?

Two to four weeks for a typical Wix site. Wix has no clean content export, so pages move manually, but most Wix sites are under 50 pages and usually get a design upgrade during the rebuild rather than a 1:1 copy. Squarespace follows the same window.

What makes a Webflow migration take longer?

Slow content approvals, mid-project renames that break the redirect map, and integration QA. The build itself is rarely the bottleneck: on our projects, client-side review cycles and content readiness drive more timeline variance than development does.

How long does Google take to process a site migration?

Google's site-move documentation says it can take a few weeks or more for medium sites and longer for large ones. Keep 301 redirects in place for at least one year and judge results at 30, 60, and 90 days, not in week one.
